In preparation for our film, we put together this plan. The poster we designed within this plan was an advertisement around our school. We kept it quite simple using red font, and a black and white image of the moon shinning down between some trees. The font colour was chosen as red is so often associated with blood and danger. We chose the picture of the woods and the moon as, not only is our film based in the woods, but this adds a sense of horror and mystery to our poster. I say this as black and white images look quite Gothic, adding the horror effect, emphasised by the moon, acting almost as a sinister eye looking down on the horrific events in the forest. We also felt that the picture didn't give too much of the film away, and so this added mystery to the poster.
